Mr and Mrs Hoppy.
In this difficult site we had to create a raised conservatory incorporating a fire escape for a basement bedroom and flood risk assessment due to the property being built on an old river bed.

Due to the ground conditions, extra
depth foundation pads were dug and
trench filled to the top with reinforced concrete.

A new infill slate roof was constructed
to accommodate the structural box
gutter system.

The steel system being erected.

The strength of the structure box gutter shown during glazing of the roof.

Fully insulated basement giving access
from lower bedroom to existing laundry area.

Completed with decking and a stairway
to the garden area.
